Refreshing ready-made meal packaging with clarity, consistency and shelf appeal

Fitness Outcomes is a ready-made meal brand built around helping people eat well without compromising on flavour, quality, or convenience.

With a focus on high-protein meals, locally sourced ingredients, and premium taste, the brand offers healthier ready-made options for customers looking to support their fitness goals while still enjoying satisfying food.

Spacey Studios was engaged to support a packaging refresh across the Fitness Outcomes product range, updating the packaging sleeves for both existing meals and new releases.

The Challenge

Packaging design requires a high level of attention to detail, especially for pre-packaged food products.

Each sleeve needed to clearly present essential product information, including meal details, ingredients, nutritional information, and other consumer-facing requirements. At the same time, the refreshed layouts needed to stay aligned with Fitness Outcomes’ established premium brand style.

The project involved updating and creating 22 packaging sleeves, each requiring consistent structure, accurate information, and a polished visual finish ready for production and rollout.

The Approach

Our focus was to refresh the packaging system without disrupting the brand’s existing shelf presence.

We worked within Fitness Outcomes’ premium visual style, refining the layout and information structure to make each sleeve feel clear, consistent, and professionally presented. The aim was to support both brand recognition and product readability, ensuring customers could quickly understand the meal offering while still experiencing the brand as high-quality and considered.

Across the range, consistency was key. With 22 sleeves to update or create, every design needed to feel part of the same family while still allowing each meal to be easily identified.

The Outcome

The final packaging refresh gave Fitness Outcomes a cleaner, more consistent suite of meal sleeves across its existing and new product range.

The updated designs helped maintain the brand’s premium positioning while ensuring product information was clearly presented and ready for retail environments, including major stockists such as Woolworths, IGA, FoodWorks, United Petroleum outlets, and more.

For a product that competes on both convenience and quality, the refreshed packaging helped support a stronger, more polished shelf presence.

Reflection

This was a focused but detail-heavy packaging project.

While the creative direction was already established, the value of the work came through precision, consistency, and careful execution across a large range of products. With food packaging, every detail matters — from nutritional information and ingredients through to layout hierarchy and print-ready preparation.

What we enjoyed about this project was helping Fitness Outcomes refresh its packaging in a way that supported the premium quality of the product without overcomplicating the design. The final sleeves felt clean, consistent, and ready for rollout across both existing favourites and new meals.

For us, this project is a reminder that not every design project needs to be a full rebrand or large-scale campaign to create value. Sometimes, thoughtful refinement across everyday customer touchpoints can make a meaningful difference to how a product is understood, trusted, and experienced.
