We designed & developed a premium Shopify website for YVDH, a high-end dress hire ecommerce business based in Lilydale VIC.
Yarra Valley Dress Hire, or YVDH in short-form, is a new business in Lilydale, located in the Yarra Valley region of Victoria. YVDH provides high-end dress hire, gifting, fashion and beauty services via their new Shopify ecommerce website, designed and developed by Spacey Studios.
We were hired by YVDH to design a custom UI & UX design for the new dress hire website, appealing to their feminine target audience. Once the design stage had concluded, we developed the custom Shopify theme for the company, including deployment to the Shopify network. This involved adding custom integrations to further optimise the user experience, and setting up the core booking functionality that can be used by both the Shopify website and the Shopify in-store POS system.
This website involved a lot of moving pieces to reach completion due to the extensive catalogue, custom functionality and significant focus on user friendly design. To streamline the communication process, we used digital file sharing, collaborative software, and a number of consultation & training sessions in-person with the client to ensure that everyone was on the same page.
