Built for everyday use & future growth, the new website for Vermont SC combines thoughtful design with intuitive functionality, making it easier than ever for the community to stay informed, connected and engaged.
Nestled in a peaceful pocket of Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Vermont Secondary College is known for its academic excellence, inclusive culture, and commitment to preparing students for life beyond the classroom. In late 2024, Spacey Studios partnered with the College to redesign and redevelop their website—creating a polished new platform that reflects the school’s values and supports its vibrant learning community.
Designed for the whole school community
With a focus on accessibility, clarity, and ease of use, the new website is designed to serve a diverse audience of students, parents, and staff. We implemented a mobile-first, fully responsive design that ensures a smooth experience across all screen sizes—from desktops to tablets to smartphones.
At the heart of the site is a custom mega menu navigation system, thoughtfully structured to help users quickly find key information like enrolment details, term dates, co-curricular programs, and more. Clean layouts and clear content sections make every page intuitive to explore.
Seamless experience, front to back
Behind the scenes, we developed a custom WordPress theme tailored to the College’s needs—empowering the internal team to manage content with confidence. Whether it’s updating event listings, sharing news, or responding to enquiries, the site provides the tools to keep information fresh and relevant.
This intuitive structure means parents can easily locate important updates, students can stay connected to college life, and staff can spend less time navigating the backend and more time focused on what matters most: education.
