Located at the gateway to Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs, Ringwood Secondary College is a dynamic, future-focused school with a strong tradition of academic excellence and community engagement. In 2024, the team at Spacey Studios were engaged to redesign and redevelop the College’s website — creating a digital platform that reflects the school’s vibrant identity while making information accessible for students, parents, and staff alike.
A modern site for a growing school
With a clear vision from the outset, the brief called for a website that was modern, easy to navigate, and equally easy for the College to manage internally. Our team delivered a fully custom WordPress solution, equipped with intuitive back-end functionality and a flexible design system to support ongoing content updates with ease.
The front-end of the site was reimagined from the ground up — clean, contemporary, and professional, with a responsive layout that works seamlessly across all devices. From school policies to enrolment information, everything is just a few clicks (or taps) away.
Built with purpose, designed for people
Throughout the project, we focused on enhancing user experience for a wide and varied audience. A streamlined mega menu, clear call-to-action pathways, and thoughtfully structured page layouts ensure the site is as functional as it is visually polished.
One standout feature is the custom event calendar, which helps keep the school community informed and connected. It’s not only easy to browse at a glance — it’s also simple for the College admin team to manage behind the scenes, with tailored layouts for different event types including term dates, musicals, and pupil-free days.

The end result is a professional and highly usable site that reflects Ringwood Secondary College’s core values of Respect, Resilience and Achievement. Launched at the start of Term 4, the new website is already making a strong impact — offering a digital presence that truly supports the College’s commitment to growth, innovation, and community engagement.
